  15. ~ Is your modem on Com4?  I don't know if the #9 card uses an S3 graphics 
  16. ~ chip or not, but if it does, you may be experiencing a common problem 
  17. ~ where the S3 chip is trying to use the same address as Com4 uses.
  18. ~ If you think this could be the case, try moving your modem to another 
  19. ~ port.  I recommend Com2, IRQ3, if possible.
